The RAP has been banning people for mass wards/couriers and item selling/killing since it was created (10 months ago). So what this guy did here is a rookie mistake. It seems like he didn't want to grief his team at the start. He decided to grief his team mid game since he got mad or something. The idea to build shitty items at the start is moot, though great if you plan to throw the game at the beginning.

If you want to throw a game half way into it, just afk at key times. Move your hero back to the fountain, tab out of HoN and surf the net for a few minutes then come back. You can always blame you being afk on lag or say nothing at all. You afk in the fountain since anywhere else is considered avoiding the shitty afk check system. You can try other stuff like playing dumb, accidentally selling your items or wasting your ultimate, but you may not get much slack in these higher rated games. And if you get enough reports against you, it'll be obvious you playing poorly is griefing, just like the guy I reported last week.

You can also just leave the game. If you're going to lose anyways, just leave. I prefer idling in the fountain and getting kicked by my team since that doesn't give them a chance to feed my hero.

You have 1167 games played with only 1.7% leave. You can leave 40 games in a row and still have less than 5% leave.

Also why would you give S2 $10 for a new account? fuck them. Do you have an easy way to get fg? get an account here, don't give this shitty company more money.

the best form of throwing i've seen is to solo mid and play overly agressive to the point of stupidity. for example, try to gank at like level 3 when the lanes pushed. enemy mid will get like 2 lvl advantage + several waves of farm advantage. then you can safely throw mid lane without it seeming intentional at all. now, when you're like level 5 tp to other lanes and try to kill. dive tower as much as u can, and just play so aggressively ur bound to die and fail.

from what i've seen mods can't ban for this since so many players actually do it. they try a risky low level gank, fail, lose mid because of it, then go on tilt and rage and play bad the rest of the game. if you can simulate this behavior without making it look like you're throwing on purpose you can lose plenty of games without having to worry about RAP

That's premeditated throwing, i'm talking about throwing mid game when you get really mad at your team.

To me it seems like afking is the best way to grief when you decide to do it half way through the game. Tabbing out of HoN lets you cool down a bit. As opposed to staying in the game and doing something rash when your teammate(s) provoke(s) you. They can't ban you for afking, especially if you do it in the fountain. Just don't it on a regular basis. And it's okay to get a leave, you can leave once every twenty games.

yeah but doesn't that suck? your hero is gimped, and so is your stats screen

just afking seems like a better solution
