what is his role early mid late? i have always avoided playing him because i thought he was played as a support ;o

carry/"tank" since what you wanna do with that hero is stand in the middle of the fight as long as possible/semisupport
and with semisupport all i mean is maybe some support items and a courier/ward as start items but then someone else takes care of it
