the two cannot be compared, if bloodline champions gets a competitive scene then it'll be worth checking out
otherwise, it's just WoW arena with an RTS control scheme

only pvping meaning no creeps to kill?

So which part of HoN do you like best the pvp fights or the creep farming ...

FAST action. Short games. 3 Main hero roles - dps, tank, healer
Cartoonish graphics (although decent quality; reminds me of LoL slightly)
Limited Free to play (LoL style again, pay to play all the heroes or be limited)
Can buy heroes with coins earned in game (but 17,000 coins per hero, and you get 10-30 each match? Good luck.)
Menu Interface + Chat Interface pretty bad.

If i need a break from HoN or if I have less than 30 minutes to play a game, I would play this.

10-30 per match, keeping in mind you can play tons of matches per hour

Very true, I would say ~5-8 matches an hour, but even at the best it's 8x30 = 240 an hour = 4 x 17 = 68 hours bare minimum for 1 more hero.
On average (guessing) it would be 6 x 20 = 120 an hour = 136 hours for 1 hero.
There are achievements, but that would only cut a couple hours of playing.

Don't expect to play other heroes unless you're willing to pay (And you should if you really do like the game and wish to support the developers).
It's a great game for being semi-free, not going to deny it.


TL;DR It takes too long to earn new heroes to play.

i get like 100 per match, 33 +67 bonus, bonus refreshes daily. (you get more points for doing well :P)

yeah I had just started when I made that post
Didn't realize team ladder gave bonus + more coins

I also found out about the weekly cap which is kind of dumb but it's not that low so I'm ok with it.

The game is so dependent on teammates..even if just one fails it's nearly impossible to come back in a 2v3

It was quite funny in beta, but now it isn't free anymore if you wanna play all champions
