there is no difference, %login_name% is a pointer to the location in memory where your login name is stored with the variable name login_name
if you host a game %login_password%, it will show your password encrypted, try it out (go on invisible mode if you are skeptical that it will really show your password, but create a practice match with it and you will get a huge encrypted line of letters and numbers)

Today I was trippin on Shrooms and decided to play a game of HoN. I had no idea about this, and it turns out that my HoN account name just so happens to be my real name (changed it when we all got to KS nicks).

Anyway, I go to join a game and sure enough theres a game that says "1600+ AR XXXXX Come". (XXXX being my name) Let's just say, I was trippin BALLS.
