portal key refresher frostfield works. but you can also do more tanky and go for heart mock breastplate. or you can be like phe'v and get geo bane/dps items. sheep is another good item. it just depends on what your team needs

post haste, refresher, bp, heart, sheep/frostfield, and possibly mock although I don't see the point since people can tell when you're next to them.

Well I enjoy mock for mass farming, and you can turn the aura off.

this is the most misunderstood word in heroes of newerth, there is no "tank" it's usually the initiator who needs to be able to take a few hits after he initiated, like a pesti/legionnaire/pharaoh or w/e

all i see in my head when i hear about "tank" is a hero who is total worthless in the fight, he go in gets ignored until he is alone then he dies =)
because a "tank" cant really do anything, i mean why would anyone focus a kotf who got 3000 hp and 50 armor when he does 100-110 dmg?
