I've had 3 friends whom I've convinced to play HoN.
One quit because he got confused and couldn't tell what was going on (mostly during team fights).
Another quit because he lost most of the time (and hated losing), and didn't really have an open mind to improve.
The last quit because he could no longer take the rage & flame from other players. Although he was open minded and rapidly improving, playing the game would just make him depressed as the comments on his gameplay were always negative. He also got a girlfriend.
The game may seem okay on the surface, but the best feature is that the game goes down deep; the more you play, the more you will understand how the game works, the more you will win, the more you will enjoy the game, the more you will see why rts is forever better than rpg (actually some er-quite a lot of- people play 50 hours a week and still suck).
Meh, Tutorial is so fucking long, and pauses so much I've spent the better part of 2 days just attempting to get through it rofl.
Anyone know why the text at the bottom of the screen cuts off like 2 lines too early in most cases and you can only see the tops of the letters? I reduced my resolution one stage but it didn't seem to help.
