either way, i don't think the balance has ever been worse than LoL's, considering all the RPG and RNG elements thrown into it (trees, runes, natural crit, etc)
LoL is meant to be casual, and if it has been more balanced than HoN i don't see why it has a dead competitive scene

LoL is casual, the balance is that its over the top in terms of heroes, so everyone has an equal shot. You're never actually out of a LoL game.

HoN isn't as balanced as dota; but on a timeline its ahead of dota for its life. HoN just isn't worth ticket price as a standalone dota clone. When the editor comes out, I can see its worth, or when its matured to a similar spot as dota.

Why wait to buy the game? $30 is cheap for today's games. It's an above average game, and like you said it's growing, it's only going to improve.

The only reason i'd tell someone to wait to buy the game is if they were solely interested in the map editor.

I just have a difficult time understanding the price set, even though its cheap, given there is a free alternative, and a technically more expansive game (dota since you buy W3 battle chest)

I think they need to worry about smaller tweak patches, as opposed to dropping big bomb patches with huge overhauls, as it is now a standalone game.

1) It's free

4) 11 year olds don't have money to spend on computer games

LoL is not set up to be competitive, and if it was the people who made it have never played competitive games. Not only is the game fucking easy as balls and not scaled well AT ALL....while in Hon you have psr to basically match you with your caliber of the playerbase and to give people an idea of your skill level. Each account is also tied to specific stats that are averaged from every game you have ever played. In LoL you can lose every fucking game you ever played and still get to level 30.

Anyone who thinks LoL is a better game then Hon you are a fucking moronic cumguzzling piece of shit. There isn't a single reason why LoL is better then hon. The heros are boring, the graphics are horrific, the game is so fucking basic and bland that I can barely stomach it for an entire game. When was the last time there was a $40,000 LoL tournament with top name sponsors? Hon is what? not even 3 months old now? And already the competitive scene > LoL?
