I agree 100 %, I started playing the carries because support wasn't getting the job done. I barely trust pubbies take carries anymore because they do it with .4-.6kds.
I know mine isn't much better, but at the rate I'm going I can easily get up to 1:1kd.
Deadwood is a personal favorite but isn't really good until level 11 with PK (in my opinion)
The only thing I dislike about Deadwood is after a while the other team ends up all having nullstone and he's just not too strong vs most late game unless he gets mass farm, which I try to do.
Lately I've been playing games on my brand new laptop which doesn't lag at all, compared to my other one I was using for the majority of my games which made it harder to deny/last hit creeps.
Yesterday I had like a 35 minute game where my CS was 340/57 with Corrupted Disciple which was 2x as much as anyone else in the game (for CK) and 4x anyone else in the game (for CD)
I tend to last hit better with range, but then again, who doesn't?
I've been generally shutting down other mid laners with flat out denying every single creep.
But I agree, I shouldn't be playing my top five as much as it shows me with the .7 KD.
