- Provides vision of the top rune, approximately 85% of the east-west horizontal section of the river, a small portion of the Hellbourne jungle cliff overlooking the horizontal of the river, the valley/entrance leading to the two ramps of the Hellbourne jungle, the ramp leading from the Legion secret shop to the river, the ramp that leads directly to the rune from the secret shop, and half of the ramp leading into the river from middle lane.

- Provides vision of the middle lane towers and the area to the northwest of its location.
- Good for preventing from being ganked by sudden Hellbourne teammate teleports (location should be slightly south of where it is placed in the screenshot to cover this).

- Provides vision of the bottom rune while preventing ganks from the Legion jungle.
- Does NOT cover enough area to be completely gank-proof from the Legion jungle, and so pushing to the tower will still leave Hellbourne heroes susceptible to ganks.

Counter-warding

Counter-wards are relatively straightforward - you place the wards of revelation where the enemy has placed wards of sight.
However, sometimes you don't know where the enemy has warded, though you do know they have wards, and so it's best to cover multiple areas, as shown here:

This location will allow you to counter the two locations to the northwest and southeast of the placed ward.

This location allows you to counter the ward locations to the east and west of the shown ward.

This location will allow the countering of the wards to the northeast and southwest of the shown ward of revelation.

Note that if you are attempting to counter-ward an elevated location without sight of it, you will need to use a winged courier/Tundra's Shiver for sight or a blinking hero, etc. to kill it.
You can place the ward of revelation directly on to the location of the ward of sight to avoid having to use overhead vision.

If someones jungling on hellbourne, you will block creeps from spawning if you place your ward abit back..
I find this pretty usefull, if i also ward the creep pulling spot..
Then there will only be the hard and the easy creeps left, making jungling pretty ineffective

ah, yes, thank you for that
i forgot to include that, very helpful on legion side against a jungler
the only downside is that they'll know for sure your ward is there and will easily counter ward it
good things to know, thank you

believe it or not, most people that have played dota before still have no clue how to ward.
