so if i gathered all the info correctly, Heroes of newerth is really similar to dota and i would have no problem adjusting to the game then? besides the new heroes and shops.

my last question is regarding the issue of leavers....ugh how i hate leavers! In HoN, are there lots of leavers in public games? also when a person disconnects, do they often rejoin the game?
i read up on that there is an option to rejoin the game if you get disconnected, which i find really sweet, but do people actually rejoin or just leave permanently?

if there are barely any leavers then i'm pretty sure i will buy the game but if there are as much leavers as dota Public games then i might as well stick with dota *sadness

Theres 2 types of "public" games.

Stats - Leavers get a leaver % and eventually cannot join "no leaver" games
No Stats - Some leavers, usually leave after feeding/failing hard.

In short: Stats games have leavers occasionally but it hurts them, and no stats games you will probably have a leaver every couple games.

There are very few leavers. Also, if you somehow got dc'd from the game, you have something like 5mins to get back into that game.
