My opnion of a good lane is as follows
A lane that can
-Farm Well
-Get Kills
-Stop other, or atleast slow the enermy hero's farm
-Maintain Lane Controll
-And can gank easily
With that being said, some of my favorite lane's are as follows
Slither/Dsham
Dsham/Zeph
Magmus/pyro
Polly/predator
Pebbles/plague
Simply placing 2 of the strongest lane heroes in the same lane, is a complerte waste of lane strength. Slither and demented shaman?
Splitting these heroes, using Dsham as a harrass/babysit and then slither as a lane pusher...
A strong lane is
-Dsham/Zephyr
-Nymphora/Pebbles
-Glacius/Swiftblade
-Slither/Magebane
All the above comps meet the needs of a strong lane, that does not consude all the lane strong heroes in a team.
Any top tier game would never use slither/Dsham in a lane due to them both being ideal babysits.
However, the lane if ever it was compiled would surely destroy and push the tower in minutes.
SUP!

Scout + Nighthound >
FYI, this lane would get dominated between levels 1-6, by any head-strong players... and don't forget early last hits are essential for both scout and NH... I did not detect and sarcasm, but meh... Bad lane is bad.
