Really nice hero that can be very helpfull to the team with his "Purge" ability

i would say hes more helpful with his grip

but the purge is nice too

Grip is good for kill not for help team/ save asses.

Instead with purge you can cut off all debuff that are killing your friends and make them run fast to safety!

Oh and Purge is the best counter swarm ulti to Pestilence

It really depends on what situation you're in. Overall Electrician (in my opinion) is most handy for how god damn hard he is to kill, and his ability to CC more then any other melee hero in the game (easily).

The fact that he can chance down an opponent, deal a substantial amount of damage, drain mana, and disable you for 4 (5? Idk) seconds is just insane. Although yes, his purge is good for helping allies, he is truely one of the best ganking/initiation/tank heroes in the game. Late game not many heroes can kill him (when played correctly), and his only real counter is Magebane.
