We're talking pubs here, in competitive organized matchups, your team doesn't really need a carry but any pub game usually gets to the late game unless you're losing very bad and concede early

Always need a carry, it's just the difference between an int carry (generally decreasing the ability to carry by around 30 minutes) or an agi carry (who starts to excel at about 25-30 minutes and only gets better)

No you don't.. There are lineups that are gank orienated, there are lineups that are push orientated, most lineups these days include a carry; but go over to dota where the gank strats and push strats are more common and see teams without carries ending games in 20 minutes :-D

Will agree with you but mostly these line ups have a semi carry or something at least along the lines of Engineer or heroes with capability of sorta carrying

But their role is to not semi carry, Engineer is an amazing pusher with his Tinker, he has a useful stun; and an amazing ult at any point of the game

Yeah that's what I said.

Their will not really be a game with no carries. Even in a pure push strat a carry hero is usually incorporated.

Yeah I am aware. Sorta comparable to tinkerer in the sense he has a tinker skill :)

But was just noting that in push strats you still use a carry.

semicarry only. A hard carry has no place in a full pushing strategy.
