I've legitimately been to 1700 a few times solo queue

I'm now 1520 and I'm constantly going back and forth from 1550 to 1500

People say you can't support every game because there's too many players you can't trust to get the job done

But lots of times I will want to mid to beat the opponents best player and make impact on the game with runes and ganks... however many bad players will INSIST that they are mid and there is absolutely no talking them out of it

Okay so then logically I should carry for my next most impactful role of the team. Problem is there are also MANY games where I will get stuck in the long lane with a melee hatchet carry and I'm a ranged carry or I'm a melee carry and they pick another melee carry

So what do I do? Just try to keep playing mid and carry?

if you're mid, play MK

if you're not, play Ra.

Best way to solo queue is to find a dominant mid that ganks and semi carries well.

My personal favorites are Gunblade, Hag, Dampeer, Chipper, Pyro, Repulsor.

When I'm boosting I typically just play Gunblade every game because he's perfect for A) raping mid, killing someone at 6, C) shutting down many popular heroes that can oppose you (monkey king, magebane, hag, night hound), D) carrying well. Plus people aren't smart enough to get armor until at least 1750 it seems lol. Win about 90-95% of games with him solo queueing and boost mmr quickly with mainly 15-20 min concedes.

Just find YOUR hero, or one you're comfortable with for winning mid and ganking. Then go from there. Oh, and buy TPs mid and gank other lanes "sneakily".

I'm asking what is the next best choice when scenarios are grim. In example: someone calls mid and is adamant about it, in addition to the short lane being taken by another hard carry.

why r u even trying to reach higher mmr and if u solo Q u r doing it wrong
get 2-3 man, 1 mid 1 carry and 1 support (even 2 man works either of u goes mid and other support or carry)

if u r foreveralone.jpg tho and u r adamant about solo queuing ur best shot is to leave whoever calls mid alone
and if u r forced to lane with a hatchet or another carry play support and u can still turn the game (its ur best shot anyway rather than going dual mid or etc)
make stacks for ur carry if hes shit at farming, ward defensive or offensive depending how game goes and try to harass and let him farm even tho maybe he aint that good

1) pick what ever is needed
2) try to be positive in the game, don't flame and blame your team

Picking whatever is needed is a good way to help team cohesion, but honestly it's not the best way to win games with incompetent teams or players. Picking a carry when you're far more qualified to play it will have just as high an impact even if your team needs an initiator and already has a carry...at least in this bracket. Obviously the higher mmr you get the more reliant you are on having a strong team makeup, but early on it's child's play to snowball as a carry.

To answer your question OP, if you get trolled out of mid and/or safelane carry, I go a ganking jungler, Parasite and Legionnaire most often. Instagibbing is very underestimated in low mmrs when hero placement and warding are both terrible, and it's easy to snowball that way. Legionnaire also works well for the same reason, but his initiator presence helps with team fights that are typically uncoordinated and started improperly from one side or another.

if i wana get out of 1500 i just play ap tell my team iam going mid pick zephyr after few picks(he is not that favorite in low mmr games) go mid (even dual mid if someone refuse to let me) and rape. zephyr is extremly strong and very underestimated by many players of oposite team early you can kill enemy hero easily even at lvl 3 if you gust him behind your creeps and block him with your hero who have lvl 2 gusts. I find out that many players just dont know how to play vs zephyr at all till 1650+
