Pick the right heroes.

My favorite heroes to carry games with are:

Agility
Moon Queen, Monkey King, Nomad, Silhouette, CD, Dampeer, Gunblade

Intelligence
Bubbles, Chipper, Oogie, Soul Reaper, Wretched Hag, Doctor Repulsor

Strength
Predator, Armadon, Rally, Pebbles

All of these heroes are perfectly mid capable and either carry very hard or have dominating early-mid game presence with a potential to carry.

If you ARE going to go mid each game, it's very important to learn the basics of midding: What starting items to build, what your skill build needs to be, what items will help you gank/win lane, to push the lane around the 1:45/3:45/5:45/7:45 etc mark to ensure you can get the rune or deny them creeps, how to keep the lane at your hill when possible, how to harass without owning yourself on creeps, etc. Practice makes perfect, but there's a huge difference between sitting casually mid and "winning" in creep score and dominating the lane and forcing your enemy to sit at the tower the whole time.

To be honest there is not much more u can do...
1500+ bracket is really tough and imo its a lot harder to win 1500-1600 game than 1900+ game. Mainly because 1500-1600 players play and act like a bunch of retard homeless hobos.
I would say best way to win those games is to find a 1 or 2 good friends and play with them. Solo que in any bracket is cancer.
