i have never experienced the other two, as i play on a macbook.

what are the similarities/differences, and which one do you like best?



side note: is there a league and/or dota equivalent to midwars?

I was told that you can play Midwars in League now ( you could before in Custom games, but now you can queue for it).

I tryed the 3 games and I personally prefer the play-style of HoN, everything seems ''faster''.

well.. dota 2 and league of legends actually have a future whereas HoN doesn't, so that right there takes it down to 1v1
I would play dota 2 over LoL any day of the week but it's up to you to play both and make that choice

well the gameplay as far as hon vs dota 2 goes imo hon wins easily

but when it comes to hon vs dota 2 as far as spectator goes dota 2 is fucking amazing and i cant wait for TI3 gonna be motherfucking epic

and LoL just like WoW is a game i'm never going to touch

cant get into LoL, slow as fuck.

Ive realy tried to get into dota2, am still trying but its so slow

i prefer midwars because forests of calvadar games are just to damn slow. i like a lot of action. midwars is the best for that.

but i don't really play to be the best, or to be perfect, or for the love of the game. i play for a team based action game.

hon is like irl, every1 hates each other and most of the time passes blame calls people names

Dota2 and LoL are simply better because the companies running them are better. They funnel millions into the competitive scene, and they have a huge team of people working on the game to constantly refine it and make it better. S2 games just isn't as dedicated to HoN as the other companies are to their games. HoN gameplay was great and fast-paced, but S2 really ruined the game over the last 2 years with dumb patches which just tried to squeeze every last penny out of customers while ignoring the actual quality of the game. Sucks because HoN beta was one of the best games I've ever played. Dota2 is like HoN when it was good, but even better than that. Once you get used to the heroes and gameplay there's no comparison. You have to give it a few hundred games though to truly understand.
