some mid hero, like peb/rally/fayde who can win the lanes from mid with ganks.

if you really want to get higher mmr:
play what ever is needed

if you are one of the "omg I am so good but I get fucked by my noob team every game":
pick mid heroes and drop even further

play with me. Profit

1700 isn't really an accomplishment.
1800+ is and even then it's not much.

If you're solo que heroes that have gank / semi-carry potential are usually the best to go for.

Hero's like: Monkey King, Pebbles, Fayde, Bubbles, Nomad ect.

You want to end the game as early as possible and rely mainly on yourself to win the game.

- If you don't get wards, place one yourself (100g is nothing to have control of runes, vision).
- If you don't get an upgraded courier, do it yourself.
- Always carry a TP scroll, send one middle ASAP to help gank other lanes or save them from ganks/tower dives [Biggest tip/easiest kills].

1730 is the 95th percentile, that's pretty good
