For items and quicker team learning (different hero combos that work well, item builds, and basically quicker but not as complete teamfight mechanic learning) midwars is the way to go... Just to learn. It'll help you learn the basics quicker, but it doesn't cover everything involved in tmm. It lacks quite a few important things involved... the tactics i know and understand...what each hero/champion does and what items to build on them are a different story though.
