Mine is actually brutal right now. I unchecked exclusive mode just so I could minimize my screen without having to restart the entire game, but now the performance has taken a hit. The worst part is trying to put the game back in exclusive mode, but that is now impossible because whenever i select the exclusive option my game minimizes and then it never applys the selection.

I know my brother got some gateway for like 399 and it runs everything on high just fine. I don't want anything amazing, just something where I can play without constant lagspikes

make sure you dont get integrated graphics and try for 2+gb of ram with a decent processor

but if you are going to get a laptop, get one with AMD Fusion

APU saves power and runs better
everything about it is better, and raises the price:performance ratio greatly
i'm actually waiting for the right one to get a new laptop, since the first models are still being manufactured, and current choices are VERY limited

anyways yeah I need a laptop over a desktop because it's still going to be used for school.

I used an HP enterainment notebook w/ Windows 7 and it built in mic and webcam and works good for games.

Look up some laptops that you like and post links and i could give you feedback on to whether it's good or not.

Tbh, any Duo Core / i3/i5/i7 Processor w/ even a decent video card and 4g Ram can run HoN at medium+ settings.
My friend just got a work laptop it's like a Dell Latitude and it's not the greatest [like 09 models] and it runs HoN quite smoothly at the default settings.
