I haven't played in that bracket for a long time.
I usually play 1750+ BP with my clans..
but since i just got my smurf
what is it that i need to expect from 1500s?

do they buy wards? are they bad?

should i go mid and own? with like ss/fayde?

or should i lane with my friend? (hes 1800+ and got a smurf too XD)
if so what hero

you shouldn't really lose more than one game from 1500 to 1700
just play SS
don't play fayde, shitty hero

at 1500, sometimes you get courier, rarely do you get wards

have your friend or you play mid, and other play a carry, should be fine

e: most people dont understand this concept. the roamer does not jerk off at lane for hte first few minutes of the game. he goes mid right away and starts putting pressure on enemy without leeching SS xp. then enemy either:

1) chases your roamer around the map while you freefarm
2) stays in lane being aggressive and dies
3) hugs tower forever

in most cases retards will do 1) or 2). if that happens the you get so far ahead you can take over game in mid-game
sometimes 3) happens, then you just get your roamer to gank enemy lanes or whatever while their solo still thinks he's mid. more freefarm for you, no farm for him

Ye 90% of the games you will get cour (atleast I do) but you will almost never see any wards so you have to buy them yourself
go mid and play like fayde/ss/ramp/dev/hag or anything stompy, dont play hard carrys because your team will attempt to kick you if you farm cuz your team is always dumb.

I was maybe thinking of doing Tort mid

or ws/cd or tort/cd lane with my friend XD just owns the shit out of the lane, let cd free farms, roam around with ws/tort

I boosted my friends account from 1522 to 1720 in 2 days.

I just played pebbles mid w/ Hatchet/4x Totems - Then if there was no courier i'd buy one or get a ward.
Have bottle by 2 minutes, have rune control, kill mid in one combo.
Have red boots / bottle / power supply / pk by 15 minutes, turn red boots into steam boots, rush deamonic/codex.
And the games usually gg by then and i have 10+ kills w/ like 1 death if anything.

Another easy one is Gauntlet middle w/ the same item build/kills in that order.

My two favorite stomp heroes.
