and when you're going for rune while he is lvl 6 make sure you always have mana and a tp

Harass like a boss and shut down last hits.

Slither's actually a great counter for him, aswell as an under-rated mid hero that you don't see quite often.
You can pretty much dominate the lane w/ him if you play it right.

But the heroes listed above all work and carry a TP.

if i'm using a hero like cd, hag, or valk, i only concentrate on denying/harassing and try to last hit all the creeps with my nuke while hitting him also.

it stacks up and you can kick him out of exp range very quickly if done properly, especially with a bottle.

all the other heroes mentioned are also awesome at shutting down bh. the only time i have trouble is when the guy rushes chalice and silences me at every cooldown.

keeper out hits him and can easy escape into trees.
