Tryhards are low-skilled players who, instead of enjoying the game at their own level of play, insist on trying to imitate professional strategies in low-level games despite not having the physical skill nor game knowledge necessary to do so. Often you will see tryhards do the following:

1) Attempt to tri-lane but fail at keeping the lane pushed back due to their inability to pull correctly, deny at 50%, and/or lasthit without pushing.
2) Constantly ward / counterward in dumb places without even saving up to buy boots, resulting in them dying over and over again
3) Travel in groups of 3 or more in an attempt to "teamplay", resulting in them being underleveled and underfarmed
4) Chastise their teammates for just trying to play the game at their own level. A typical thing a tryhard might say is "shut up noob, I saw trixi do this strat on honcast, do you know NOTHING about competitive play?!"
5) Whine and bad-manner when they lose because they are unaware of how points 1)-4) actually contributed to their loss.

lol i think it's hilarious when you see in a pub, as soon as a lane gets empty, 5 ppl rush there and start mutual farming.

20 minutes in and they are so badly underlvled xD

It's even worse when they get completely outplayed in lanes then refuse to do anything but roam as 5. They end up getting a bunch of kills and think they brought the game back, then they realize the enemy team has 1 freefarming carry who now has 500 gpm and 4 levels over anyone else in the game. Stupid pubs...

i love when this happens, i am the carry usually and my friends just bitch and moan thinking the game is over

Yeah I had this happen a while back. Was playing Drow Ranger, these kids were getting crushed in every lane. Mid lane my mate was playing chipper, he was level 7 by the time their DW was 4. Enemy team saw this and heard DW complaining in chat, so what did they do? CONSTANTLY sent 4-5 people mid, even warded it to make sure they could kill chipper. Meanwhile I farmed 11 min steamboots + helm of dominator, got a bunch of strong creeps, then dual farmed with me on lane and creeps in jungle. 450 GPM at the end and when I outcarry their whole team the kids are like "WTF how did that happen? we ganked chipper so much!".

Haha, me + pirat + a friend did triple helm of dominator strategy earlier in a CM game. Ended up winning because we were able to block off / push 1 lane with our 12 or so creeps while we ganked and/or pushed another lane with heroes. Enemy couldn't do shit

edit: also, somebody told me to go shroud on slith cuz its the best item for slith, but i went vanguard and hood, but they keep calling me a fucking noob

Any retarded strategy I do nowadays like triple ogre axe soulstealer I just say I saw trixi do it.
