So, i have been playing hon for about a year now, and never played dota. I consider myself a solid 1650+ player.

I use to deadwood mid a decent amount, last spring.

Over the last 13 games, all i did is deadwood mid, and i only lost 1 game

Overall, i have 145 kills, and 39 deaths with deadwood mid, given these are all 1600+ mm games.

So far, the only hero that is somewhat a challenge against him mid is dsham.

What hero beats him mid?

pretty much ANY hero can beat a deadwood aslong as you know how to maintain runecontrol

keep deadwood off creeps and dont get rooted when he is level 6 but by then you should have a bracer / some life item / or killed him

On that note, any hero can beat any hero mid if they mainain rune control

well versus heavy gankers like pebbles/deadwood it's more important to maintain runecontrol than versus other heroes

since if they get a invis/haste they can pretty much set up either a kill on you or 2 kills on top / bot lane
