at the end of the day, you need to learn every hero and what they do, so you will know what one guy in the lane across from you will be doing to you. start with one, and work your way through the list. also try the hon forums they have some starter guides that can get you a bassic idea what each heros role is and how it should be played. although when im starting people i prefer to start them on plague rider.

i'd say valkyrie or devourer, those heroes are fun for noobs if you ask me
