chalice+bottle/powersupply>steamboots>nullstone ( if they got annoying targeting spells ofc ) else runed axe is a viable option but i much much more prefer null over ra>shrunken in almost any case since it will greatly help your survivability and will also give you a small amount of damage>savage>whispering helm>wingbow/daemonic ( depending if daemonic is essential for your team ) if not wingbow, and then as last item you upgrade your whispering helm to symbol of rage and swap your steamboots for posthaste

Runed axe sucks, bottle and/or chalice solves mana problems, nullstone is definitely viable when the time comes, but survivability is key Friend.

Being the God of Madman a Professional Madman player like myself would build a Savage mace as my core DPS item mainly after my shrunken head.

I get Lifesteal after Savage Mace because I start dealing significant damage then to make decent use of it :-):-)

runed axe sucks?
if you get runed axe early enough and you can profarm like me while playing like a pussy and being the team's cleanup crew until you have nullstone/shrunken/mace then it's worth it

ra sure is good if you can get it under 16 min mark AND your team is not failing and you feel safe to let your team play without you for an additional 5-15 min, but if they just have 1 decent target spell nullstone really is much better than ra because that nullstone will save you so many times, and madman already have a decent farmability as long as you got that mana regen
