Would You Consider This Backdooring? - Topic

Me and a buddy were playing a 2V2, we pushed a lane and took out the racks, with our creeps, then took out the other racks without pushing in that lane.

Is that backdooring? Considering this rule from DotA -

4.2 You have to enter the base with creeps but they dont have to be in the same line as you. As soon as creeps enters the base, the complete base is allowed to be destroyed.
As long as there were creeps in base when you entered, you are allowed to keep attacking even if they die. If you leave the base at this moment you need to have new creeps in the next attack.

Can someone clarify this?

from what i no, this is not back dooring

these are the rules in all tournaments aswell

Exactly. That's what I thought.
I knew the rules wouldn't change over from DOTA
that wouldn't make any sense.

We were talking about it there also just to clarify even more.

Ryan was bitching at us for doing this to him and Cam and then telling me to learn the rules
when I was fucking positive that it was fine. He then rage quit vent and go off HoN for no reason

I don't understand why he can't admit that he just fucking lost.
Instead of him telling me "LEARN THE FUCKING RULES YOU BM PIECE OF SHIT"
when I actually do know the "rules" and that is not considered backdooring which is proven both here and in the HoN forums.

So now he just looks stupid..

i never played dota so i dont really no

but apparently backdooring meant just killing the throne and not killing the towers or something

but since you have to take town the towers before can proceed into the base etc its impossible to backdoor in hon

BUT if you have already pushed INSIDE their base with one lane and that lane is wreaking the rest of the little towers
you can then go to the other side of the base and destroy it.

That is what Ryan clearly doesn't understand
