So I’m making a Sorceress build that uses Spiraling Conspiracy but for some reason the skill is min lvl 78 to use but I can equip weapon with a lvl 18. I know a lvl 19 is a min of lvl 84 is there something making that skill level so high? My friend had a monk and his skill lvl for that skill was 66?

Skills in general have requirements for the skill gem level. Im new also so my input might be worthless but the skills also require certain stats like intelligence in order to craft a certain level of a skill. If its a skill thats learnable like all the other skills . For example if youre level 20 you obviously can't use level 20 skill gem because you have to be level 90 for the level of skill gem. So maybe youre just trying to use something above your level range?

Your friend definitely had plus skills somewhere on his gear, likely amulet
