I have a friend, Anna, who comes from a very religious home. She and her sister, Cande, are also very religious but not as traditional. They are both adults who are living at home while they work their way through college. The other night, Anna's dad saw her kissing a boy, and it was just a peck on the lips. He kind of went crazy and beat her and Cande when she tried to stop him. Now she's very afraid of being in her home, but she is like a battered wife where is also afraid of leaving. She's also starting to blame herself by thinking it was wrong to kiss a boy.

I'm asking here because even though this isn't really a Christian problem itself I think you guys might understand what's going on more.

I asked her if she wanted to call the cops but said no. I don't agree with that but I guess it's her decision.

But I've known for years that their dad is a real scumbag. He's always been controlling and treats his Children like slave labor.
