Hello,
I have lived a pretty nice life, 22 years old and I have an amazing fiancee whom I love. I found Jesus roughly 5-6 months ago and began my walk. I was baptized a Christian in June and have started walking with God. My goal in life is to become a police officer and I feel it is what god put me on this earth to do. Id like to spread his word to people in need. I am not attempting to be one of those terrible officers who issue citations because its a Monday. I want to teach people that we make mistakes and god is there to forgive us and help us into eternal life.
Recently I found out that my fiancee was pregnant, we stopped having sex roughly 2 months ago but as fate would have it she conceived on our last session. I found this to be an incredible blessing and cannot wait to have our first child. We are getting married in a month and starting our lives together. But im asking for any prayers today because during my search for a police career I was issued a 3 year Disqualification through the department that I had the absolute best odds with. This killed my spirit and now I question what im going to do with my life and no career. I applied for another force and began testing today but I need the lord to bless me because I cannot achieve anything without his glory. Shortly after hearing this we heard that we are being kicked out of our living situation and have a month to find somewhere else. Currently I make barely any money to cover the rent and we find ourselves in a sticky situation.
I ask that anyone who would like please pray for me, my fiancee, and our baby. I know this is a strange request but I just felt as if the lord called me to ask for prayers. I know this is not a life or death situation, but it is important to myself and my family. If you feel this is weird and just dumb, I just ask that you continue on and don't comment.
Thank you.
First off congratulations on the baby
It's amazing that you guys are having one at such a young age
And it's also really cool that you want to be a police officer that actually wants to do some good.
I know things may look grim but I assure you The Lord does the things that he does for a reason
It will work out in the end, just keep your faith
Do you have anywhere to live temporarily? Your parents house? Your fiancées parents?
