I believe that Jesus is the king of all, and the cornerstone for us to be able to meet together as one people, rather than a people divided. Dietrich Bonhoeffer said that wiithout Christ there is discord between God and man and between man and man. Christ became the Mediator and made peace with God and among men. Without Christ we should not know God, we could not call upon Him, nor come to Him. But, without Christ we also would not know our brother, nor could we come to him. The way is blocked by our own ego. Christ opened up the way to God and to our brother. The title for this is called "Transparency" because it is my heart that we come together, unified as a people, and have a desire to just do life together. James 5:16 says "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." I want to be transparent with you. I want to confess my sins and my struggles, believing that you will strengthen me in prayer, and that I may hopefully do the same for you.
Each day I will be posting a passage of scripture, and breaking it down piece by piece, explaining what the Lord has revealed to me through the passage. Discussions are welcome and even encouraged. But may we lay our pride and arrogance before the throne of grace, so that it may not hinder us from receiving the gospel, and loving our brothers and sisters.
