I just got into a fist fight with my blood brother. He is my half brother but he is still half by blood.
He was drunk and just attacked me while saying "he made me who I am today".

Twice this happened tonight.

he attacked me once out of nowhere, once when I was explaining what happened.
I tried to be neutral (as believable as it can be) he attacked me while I was explaining what happened.
The first time, my excuse was that I wasn't going to let someone assault me.

So after that, when I was explaining the situation, he attacked me again. If other people hadn't gotten in the way then his face would have been smashed into the ground and fireplace.
I almost killed my younger brother.

I smashed his face into my fist pretty hard but only after he tried using his fists against me.

The reason I am posting is because I found myself becoming more and more indifferent about these situations.
It puts me in a sad state of being, finding myself in a state of indifference.

:(

What do I do? I find myself caring less and less about my more direct family, who sit around and smoke weed, than I do about the family whose goal is to actually prosper and take care of the family.

I guess the question shouldn't be "what do I do" or "what should I have done". I guess there is no question. I probably just feel bad...

I am no psychologist but I feel bad about feeling indifferent.
My perspective: I am out to accomplish and see many different things while some in my family just want to sit at mom's house and smoke weed.

Is it ok to be sad about one's lack of remorse?
