The Greek word for repent is metanoia which means to change your mind, to turn away from your sin, not just to ask for forgiveness.
Well said, bro.
+1. I pray in Jesus' name that you would be satisfied with the food of doing The Father's will, and that He would continue to impress upon your heart the will of the Father so that you may be fully satisfied and live your life to the full. I pray you would continue to give God glory as he gives you deeper revelation into His character. You are the good branch, and the Father will prune you as he sees fit! I pray we would continue to submit to the Father, under the realization that indeed we are the pot, and he is the Potter. The pot can bring no glory to himself, but only to the Potter. As such, let us continue to realize that we were made to please Him, and bring him glory. Let us therefore throw away all prideful notions of our own, and instead boast in Christ. For by humbling ourselves to God, we will be doing the will of The Father, and he will be well pleased. As we prove that we are faithful with little, he will entrust us with much. This is all to bring him glory and please him. But do not be disheartened or feel restricted, for all the Father's riches in heaven is ours, and we are only truly satisfied when we do the will of the Father which to to please him by doing what He does, and giving back to him what he gives us.
