Do you love Jesus? Do you meditate on his words each day? Do you anxiously come home from school and work and look forward to prayer and bible reading? Do you scarf down your dinner so that you can rush to your room to read the bible?

Please do not put your hope and confidence in that prayer that you say every Sunday for your salvation. Matthew 7:14 "For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." The bible says that God is love, but he is also wrath and anger. God cannot love children and not HATE abortions. God cannot love marriage and not DESPISE homosexuality and pornography. In fact in Psalm 5:5 it is written, "The arrogant cannot stand in your presence. You hate all who do wrong" (or you hate all workers of iniquity)

We need to take a stand for Jesus. We need to be broken, faithful, available and teachable. Jesus is not a Sunday thing, and not a nightly prayer or a weekly or even daily bible reading. Jesus is the center of our lives, our entire hope rests on him. John 15:5 states that "apart from him we can do NOTHING."

Repent: feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin. When you repent of a wrongdoing, like stepping on someone's shoes, you genuinely do not want to do it again. You don't ask God for forgiveness, and the next day go out and step on someone's shoes again on purpose, or think about stepping on someone's shoes. What about when you watch porn?

I love you my dear friends. And if anyone wants to talk to me about God, you are welcome to msg me!

The Greek word for repent is metanoia which means to change your mind, to turn away from your sin, not just to ask for forgiveness.

Well said, bro.

+1. I pray in Jesus' name that you would be satisfied with the food of doing The Father's will, and that He would continue to impress upon your heart the will of the Father so that you may be fully satisfied and live your life to the full. I pray you would continue to give God glory as he gives you deeper revelation into His character. You are the good branch, and the Father will prune you as he sees fit! I pray we would continue to submit to the Father, under the realization that indeed we are the pot, and he is the Potter. The pot can bring no glory to himself, but only to the Potter. As such, let us continue to realize that we were made to please Him, and bring him glory. Let us therefore throw away all prideful notions of our own, and instead boast in Christ. For by humbling ourselves to God, we will be doing the will of The Father, and he will be well pleased. As we prove that we are faithful with little, he will entrust us with much. This is all to bring him glory and please him. But do not be disheartened or feel restricted, for all the Father's riches in heaven is ours, and we are only truly satisfied when we do the will of the Father which to to please him by doing what He does, and giving back to him what he gives us.

I find that I am more motivated to be a better person because of love for God, not fear for God.
