Some big things just happened today and my plans for the future have just been put through a meat grinder. I have been a Christian my whole life but I haven't spent much time with his Word. Does anyone have any verses that might brighten my day

verily verily i say un2 u he that entereth not by the door in2 the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. but he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. to him the porter openeth and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name and leadeth them out.

and when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth b4 them and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

and a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

The first verse I ever memorized. Romans 8:28.
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."
