Honestly get over something they didn't think they deserved to be forgiven for?

It depends on what it is, if you elaborate more maybe I could help.

Whether you "think" you should be forgiven or not is irrelevant. God is good and God is love. If you are repentant and are genuine in your asking of forgiveness, it will be given no matter the sin.

Appreciate it.

Reassurance is all we need sometimes I suppose.

Even I have felt that way sometimes Endure. Then when I go to Church the way they get me to think of it is like this: There is no sin that is more powerful than the cross of Jesus Christ.

Now when I think "Is that sin more powerful than the cross?" Suddenly that sin doesn't have as much an impact on me because Jesus paid the ULTIMATE sacrifice and has become the ULTIMATE temple.

Have you fully sought repentance? Not just of God, but of everyone involved? And if so, have you taken steps toward reconciliation? God is one of reconciliation - mercy, grace, and forgiveness are all means towards reconciliation.

Just don't blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Also, just because Jesus conquered sin on the cross doesn't mean we can do whatever we want without consequence.
Romans 6 is pretty clear about that. We need to repent and actually change our ways when we find ourselves in sin.

There are a few things about steps of repentance that can help you with that. A few of them being: realize what you did was wrong, make it right with the person you wronged, ask for forgiveness from that person and more importantly, the Lord, never do it again, and be truly sorry to where you would genuinely not want to do it again.
