I am asking this for a friend, who unlike me, is a religious person, and in need of some guidance

He recently admitted to me that he is sexually interested in other males and has had "experiences" with them.

He is afraid to be open about this as the bible regards homosexuality as a sin, and is afraid of being scrutinized by the religious community.

I have told him that I am a non believer, but people are supposed to be created in the image of God, so there is nothing wrong with his desires.

He is quite conflicted as his experiences have shown that homosexuality is essentially an unforgivable sin.

I support his beliefs, and am looking for a way to convince him that his life style and religious beliefs shouldn't conflict.

Any input on this situation would be appreciated.

In the bible it is said that a relationship/marriage will always be 1man and 1 woman and although back then you read alot of stories that pertain to some having multiple wives that was acceptable then but God's true word "The Bible" emphasizes homosexual relationships are a a very bad sin so we should only be entitled to follow gods word since it is the right thing to do so i am sorry but yes homosexuality is a sin where the punishment is going to hell

Didn't I answer this question with my 10 series of questions?

Is the Bible anti-gay?

Let me make one thing perfectly clear, you CANNOT shock God. He knows everything about you.

Homosexuality is a sin and it can be forgiven. God created marriage to be between a Man and a Woman. It's clear about that throughout the Bible.
