So I work in a Medical Clinic. I deal with the owner/doctor's/lawyers. The owner is 27 years old and has become a pretty good friend to me. Going to concerts and different events in Vegas, where we live. He invited me today to come to his Superbowl Party and I said I would definitely would go. So he wants me to meet him at his house. The problem is I figured out that the party is at a strip club. I don't think I should be partaking in this type of activity. I never have because I think its wrong. But now I'm stuck in a pickle. What do you guys think I should do?

I wouldn't go than if I were you.

Just tell him why you won't be attending. I wouldn't be mean about it, although it's kind of upsetting I'm sure. I was offered 3 times in the past 7 years to go strip clubs and I told them I'm a Christian and I don't do those kinds of things. Treating women like sex toys and objects is just wrong and not something God would want us going too or doing.

Pray about it.
I don't drink, go to "parties" or swear and people notice at work. Some of them will even appologize to me when they swear in front of me (and only me) because I don't use that kind of language. People notice how you behave and the things you do or don't do. Lots of people will respect you for it.

Yah I have to tell him I can't go since it is at a Strip Club. They notice and know that I am Christian, they just want me to go bad, that's why I think he didn't tell me until after I said I would go.

Yeah dude. I wouldn't go. Cliche..But I look at alot of situations and think to my self...What would Jesus do haha. Try to tell him that you really appreciate the offer but you jsut can't attend..
