Hope everyone is staying strong in their walk with God.

I have been absent from mine for a long time now.
Trying to get my wife and I back involved with the church.

Moved to a few new cities since I'm military and its been rough.


Got a child on the way so we are getting back to a place where we should be spiritually.

How can you be in the army on one hand and pretend to live with gods law on the other?

You can be in the military and live by God's Word. Now, if the military tells you to do something that is against God's Word, than you should always disobey those orders, just like any other job.

how about thou shall not kill

isnt that what military does

lets go kill some ppl for oil rights!!

just my opinion

edit.. also the bible speaks of forgive and forget.. to turn the other cheek so why even go to war?

The military is to protect and defend your nation against attacks. Was it a sin for David to kill Goliath? I don't agree with every war either, but that doesn't make it a sin to protect your country. By your same logic it's wrong to be a policeman and shoot and kill criminals if they have to.

Does God's chosen people Isreal not have a military? No country in the middle east holds a candle to Isreal's military. If the muslim countries attacking Isreal would stop attacking Isreal, there would be peace, if Isreal stopped attacking back, there would be no Isreal.
