I was pulling into the parking lot at my school yesterday and I was late so I tried squeezing into the only available space (which was the only available space because both cars were over the line and made parking there a tight squeeze)
I didn't swing out far enough so when I pulled in I scraped the back of the car next to me and I immediately freaked out because I don't have the money to be paying to fix someone else's car.
After I got out of my car I looked around for a second and wondered "Did anyone see me? Maybe I should just drive away to another parking space and leave it be" but then I was like.. what am I thinking, that's not the christian thing to do, and I started praying and asking God to help me in the situation.
I wrote a half a page saying I was sorry and gave him/her my information incase they needed me to pay for the damage. After I put the note on their windshield I got back into my car which was still on, and this mainstream song was playing and the line I heard was "Don't you worry don't you worry child, see Heaven's got a plan for you!" I was like, hmmm, then went on to my class. After class I was going back to my car and noticed the car I hit was gone and figured I would just wait for a text/call. I got in my car and turned it on, and the song playing goes "Don't you worry don't you worry child, see Heaven's got a plan for you!" I just shook my head and smurked and thought to myself, man God works in mysterious ways.
I went home and went to work and after I got home that night I received a text from a random number and it said this:
"I'm Scott, the guy you parked next to today. Thanks for leaving a note. No problem here. Have a good one."
I just thought to myself how awesome and nice of him it was not to chew me out, which is what I was expecting.
Anyways, I just thought I would share my little story where the devil tried to steer me off and I said no!:)
