I...I'm saying this for the first time. I try to give the best spirtual advice and pray for those that ask...or even those that don't on here. But I'm suffering something serious my self...

I'm a porn addict. Sexual Immorality is heavy with me. Now I don't gloat or boast but I'm a attractive young male I refuse sexual contact with alot of girls/women and at the end it puts desire greatly on my mind. Being that I try to rule over it but it just overwhelms me..I don't want this..When they say physical attraction is a curse....Their right. I get girls that just blow my mind that want sex and I refuse but it sinks deeply in my mind that I could be having sex with that girl. So I masturbate trying to supress my thoughts...but that just makes it worst. Confessing this is not a good feeling at all...I'm embarssed. Why I'm posting this on here is that I'm making a huge public display of my shame and wanting it stop....Please pray for me. I am ashamed....I read Roman's 6 today.....it just crushed me.

Praise the Lord our God.....The lamb was most worthy.

I suffer from the same thing.

All I can say is this: Our sins are forgiven.

True. But that cannot be a "sin all you want" statement. The goal is to stop sinning.

@OP, I would encourage you to speak with a leader from your church. It should be in complete confidence. But that leader can give you advice on your current situation. They may also become somewhat of an accountability partner to you.

I too struggled with pornography for years. I hit the point that I simply needed to be held accountable and to rid all outlets of pornography in my home. I have blocks on certain channels that only my wife has the password for. I cannot access certain sites on my computer due to a block. I also have a program that emails my accountability partner every website I visit for the month.

It all may seem intrusive, but it really helps. Praying for you friend!

I agree with that. I always refer to Romans 6 when this kind of thing pops up.

It is still very hard to battle though. It is easy to fend off the first few temptations but with every victory over temptation, the next wave only gets stronger and stronger until you give in. It is an endless cycle.

It's alright, I do know alot of guys that are going through the same thing, but they haven't admitted a problem with it like you have.

You need to learn self control.
I know it sounds kind of cliche but you do.

throw away all the tapes.
stay away from those websites.

I know, easier said than done, but, try limiting your self off of them,
don't stop cold turkey, but ease your self off of it.
