HIs question

was wondering if adam and eve were the first and only and u Christians dnt believe in evolution. then does that mean that adams sons and daughters and grandaughters etc, like had kids by each other? there is no other explaination then that. i myself bellieve in both God and Science. but that part just tweeked my out. eve had kids, who had kids...somehow...who also had kids. keep in mind they are all family...sound strange. or did god like secretly create more woman for the male born? idk just thinking right now lol.


I would like someone to answer for me ?

If i remember correclty she only had sons (not sure)
But in theory there is nothing wrong with having children with ur siblins/parents. The problem is if you have any damages genes.

Adam and Eve had sons and daughters.

Genesis 5:3-5

They married their brothers and sister. Which was perfectly fine and allowed back then (we're all related anyway by Adam and Eve) and was only changed a few thousand years ago that you shouldn't be doing it anymore because it's now a health risk to marry somebody that close to because of all of the disease in the gene pool now. Two people that are very closer related by blood are more likely to have the same genetic problems which would increase problems in their children. That's why when people inbreed now there's usually problems with their children, back then there wasn't any problems in the gene pool like there is now, so there wasn't any health risk.

And yes, Christians don't believe in Macroevolution. God created all of the animal kinds at the beginning of Creation.

Remember they were immortal back then, there were no such thing as disease. After they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge they slowly became mortal. So back then yes they could have married their brothers and sisters without risk of disease. After Millennia past though they became less immortal and more diseases came out into the world and then the health risk became apparent.

However by then the world would have been filled with many people so you couldn't marry your immediate family.

Well, Yes. Haha. Makes perfect sense. Along with the fact the world is slowly decaying away, along with man. But anyways!...Yeah we are linked together through Adam and Eve. Times change with ideaologies of what is right and isn't. Wasn't that long ago the stoning a person that commmited Adultery used to a be a public past time. (But the King of king's fixed that.)

Your sect of Christianity might not, but the Catholic Church accepts it. They take the "Theistic Evolution" approach.
