preferably a young earth creationist-type

i was thinking of getting the way, furrow, the forge but it seems too long (over 900 pages!) thats bigger than the bible.

thats wat i was thinking but the bible seems to bare and strict with not enough details/explanations

If Bible, get a study Bible, I got one by John MacArthur and he goes into great detail about all scripture. Plus, it's in a format where we can understand it.
