Which version is your favorite and why?

I like the parallels so far. Sometimes other versions wording can be hard to comprehend so a parallel with "the message" style really helps. I dont like that the message vastly changes some of the words though

Probably a boring answer but I'll stick to NIV for now. Maybe once I know the Bible better I could move on to one of the more 'interesting' reads

I am currently in search of a King James/The Message parallel bible. NOT New King James. It is my current understanding that they do not make this one
If anyone knows where I could get one of these or maybe custom make one? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for any help

The Message isn't a translation.. it's a paraphrase. That's why the wording is a lot different.

I prefer the NASB when I read and do studies.

I enjoy New Living Translation and New King James.
