I've never believed in god but i was raised to be a good person with strong christian values and believe that there is a greater good & postivie thoughts and wishes serve that greater good. One of my best friends (a devout cathilic) is going in for open heart surgery tomorrow and he's 24years old with a 2 year old daughter. She asked me if her dad was going to be okay and I started crying and told her I dont know. If not for me please pray for my close friend Ryan and his wife and daughter. His surgery is tomorrow at 12PM est at Bayfront Medical Center.

Ive never been against god and i belive my purpose in life is to help others and celebrate the life i have been given. Ive read a lot of religious texts and one thing ive come away with is no one (or some doctrine) should come between me and what i want to say to god. Because everything else is of this world. Its always worked well for me and ive had a great life. But when a little girl looks into your eyes and asks if her daddy is going to be okay i couldnt comfort her at all and it felt like the worst thing in the world

Hey they kept him for almost a week and noe sent him home with a heart monitoring device and expect him to wear it for a month. Hes got more wires hooked up to him that jsp's server and theyre trying to tell him he has a light load work release. He doesnt have insurance so they are trying to push it off as much as possible. Its sad when our medical system would rather just run up a large bill over a couple weeks of testing/monitoring without fixing anything than give him the surgery the dr said he needed and he would get to leave within a week but just have massive medical debt. If we had obama care he could of had this taken care of a long time ago. (This has been a condition from birth and has madenit complicated for him to get insurance.) I appreciate any and all love & good will that youve sent my friends way. I took up a collection for his family at my work and got enough money to pay their rent for two months and keep them fed. So were just praying theyll do the surgery asap
