Genesis 3:6-7
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it.She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Look at bolded italiced.
I've actually heard both he brought to her and one with him being with her. It depends which bible translation you read not all of them are the same. They keep getting changed because someone doesn't like a part.
But as for the inheritly evil question no you are not born that way people just assume that. But reality is we are born pure but god has given us the option to choose wether we want him or sin. But at one point we all chose sin over him. Everyone has besides Jesus.
Edit: as for the virgin Mary she ha nothing to do with not being born with sin. She is not even of importance in a lot of Christian religions only mainly in catholic do saints and angels are popular which I don't understand cause in the bible It says not to idolize the Angels either and it seems to me as if they are but idk since I'm not catholic. But the main reason it says she was a virgin was to show the greatness of the holy spirit who impregnated a women without the need for sex.
