I write christian folk/pop/rock style music and then I record, mix, and produce it myself in my bedroom.
This is my most recent one:
http://soundcloud.com/rush-pfeiffer/why-should-i-fearMission:I've got a mind to increase creativity in christian music and minister to other bands that aren't christian.
Most of today's christian music is lacking direct passion for music and creativity in both lyric and instrument form, I wanna take a stand for this because I think our God deserves soooo much more creativity than "we praise your name blah blah blah we praise your name". Most christian music just lacks creativity in general.
Lyrics so you know it's christian
A book I read said don't go chasing fantasies. Didn't say nothing about living for your dreams. Don't put me down like stones at river's feet. A friend's scorn as a calming enemy. You say flee to your mountain but why should I fear, You provoke my God and live a life so selfishly dear. Your filling a your field with thorns and ravens why would I talk back? Because some day you'll turn around and realize your facing your own attack. But I will pray for you, I will pray for you.
Wise man on the corner of a street I call my home. He says boy your looking like you want to roam. Four corners of Earth four turns of tide and life. Better go now boy later you may want a wife. Tent of the righteous prosper the house of the wicked will fall and all those riches you have gained won't make a difference in the end at all. Oh rider of the clouds oh soarer of the stars, I'll spread news of your good deeds here and afar. The words I will say for you, The words I will say for you. The words I will say for you, The words I will say for you.
