My Pastor and his wife got me a new living translation. Was using NIV than KJV because I started to think KJV was the only "accurate Bible" out there, when in reality we don't know all the words they are translating from and if they got them 100% accurate or not.

The new living translation (so far) has been an excellent Bible and the specific "Every Man's Bible" has some great commentary/"articles" in it as well.

I preach from NLT.

I have found the NASB to be the most accurate translation. Of course other translations have better translations for certain texts, but overall I prefer the NASB.

KJV is hardly "accurate."

KJV if you compare it to NIV and NLT you can see how things are worded different in some instances.. Ive been a christian for 11 yrs +
