Would it be wrong to have a screen name with the word Holy in it?

I just want to make sure because I don't want to step on any boundaries.

I don't know, I may be thinking too much about it, but I know the scripture must mean that you should do good things because it is good and not because people around you will see your righteousness.

But, what I want to know, is if it is ok to have a screen name with the word Holy in it, because I have a screen name with the word Holy in it

That scripture is talking about actions or deeds and flaunting them for the world to see. Basically doing things that are good to get pat on the back.

Theres nothing wrong with showing off your love for god, if thats what your asking.

What I think of when I hear this vs is like if people Tyth and tell everyone in the church how much they gave if it was a large amount of money.
Or gave a homeless person shelter food and clothing then told all your friends how good you were because you did this deed...

I just didn't want to seem like I was boastful or prideful by having a screen name with the word Holy in it.

I want to show the utmost respect for God.

Being boastful in yourself is a sin. Boasting in your weaknesses and God is not.

When you do deeds for everyone to see, you have already received your reward which is attention. However if you wait you will receive your reward from God in Heaven. A temporary and short reward vs an eternal reward.

It's like when A celebrity donates to charity on live television. It's for their fame. Their glory

That verse is talking about displaying your righteousness purely for the motive of being seen.

For example, praying in public to show everyone that your righteous instead of praying in public to pray for the people you are around and with.

There is nothing wrong with this as long as your motives are right and you didn't make your user name to seem righteous. There is nothing wrong with calling yourself the righteousness of God but if you do it in a prideful spirit.
