That movie made by Mel Gibson. what a master piece of movie.
Watched again last evening and I recommend to everyone.

This movie will make you cry... Jesus Christ our Lord did all this for us so that we will be saved from hell and be with him in heaven eternally...

You have no proof, that what happens in the movie, also happened in reality. It's just a movie, he made it to make money, nothing else

He wanted to make it as real as possible. That is the closest thing you can ever get to seeing what happened in reality.

There are other Movie's like' The Gospel of John' that leaves many parts out.

Actually, it was th way Romanians executed criminals in Jesus era. And normally, criminal didnt pass through the flagellation (flagra) most of them died right there. Its not just a movie to make money here, its facts put in movie..

Yeah people have complained about the bloodiness part when Jesus gets scourged. Mel Gibson replied that, that showed the true horror of the beating that he took.

If it was a so, so beat down then you wouldn't realize how bad it would have been in reality.
