So everyone asks "Why does God allow bad things to happen?" at one point when discussing God. It's almost always answered w/ he allows it because it's freedom of choice. It's life.

But I ask, why would the right of freedom be taken away once you go to Heaven? You take away the freedom and the choices in life when you are taken to Heaven. You are then being restricted from endless possibilities that a normal life on Earth can grant you. Why would you want to go to a "lesser" place? One without choices of your own? One that is based on another man's conception of "perfect"?

I am not an atheist by any means. I have prayed on many occasions and I do believe there is a God out there.

Proverbs 16:4 -
(NASB) The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil.
(NIV) The LORD works out everything for his own ends--even the wicked for a day of disaster.
(NKJV) The LORD has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

This naturally leads to the question of did God create evil? http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/evil.html

The concept of free will has been argued for centuries. At the end of the day, it often comes down to semantics. If one were to say to you that we have no free will, would that alter your question about Heaven? Or would you then go down the path of what having free will vs. not having it "means" to us here in our lives?

You'll likely just end up back at the original question, why do bad things happen? Because there is evil in this world. The presence of evil does not mean God is unrighteous or evil (see the link above).

wat one does to harm another human will come back.

Do it again and it will stack.

u, ur family and/or ties.....will suffer soon or later. instantly and/or prolonged.

Suffer from physical and touch-less sources

This negates forgiveness & grace:

Well in a way, but not in a karmic way. As Christians, we don't believe in karma.

Karma basically says that if your family member is brutally murdered, you must have done something in the past make it happen, which is of course BS.

Think of Saul from the bible, he killed thousands of Christians, but when Christ appeared to him and changed him, he regretted it. Sure, he would suffer the direct consequences of his previous sin such as guilt, sorrow, and regret, but ultimately he was saved.

It just goes to show how far God's grace extends.

I don't think anyone answered his question. haha. At any rate, if i have this right, you want to know why (when we have free will on Earth) would we go to a place where our "choice" to say, sin, is taken away?

My answer? Fairly simple really. We have our choice here on earth on whether or not we will serve him and resist sin and temptation etc...right? So if we do these things and are saved then we go to Heaven, a place without sin, without temptation, etc...

So we're not losing free will, we're losing our fleshly desires to go against God's will. Basically,we become how we were meant to be at creation. Perfect and sinless.

We still make choices, we just make them with much greater understanding and knowledge that is revealed to us there.

Hope this helps. :)

i don't know much at all about Saul.

I am more of a Christian dicussion group enthusiast. Song Singer. and Poetic Explorer.

thanks Torm for being honest and seeing that although i do not know God's/Satan's/Demon's/Angel's intention, i wrote what i could.

But just from ur story from bible and his age and his name, i can respond to u.

Those Christian he killed had families and ties.

He is held by the rope of what he did, and must struggle not to return, to the addiction.

Thoughts go through his head from past habits, that he must suppress

His kill target's families have children too. and they will not forget Saul's children's children.

God Forgave him? maybe so. Is the bible of ink and paper? yes . Did humans write the bible? yes.

I do not know what God looks like. I do not know what angels look like. I do not know what demons look like(demon possesion does not reveal the demon in physical form)

Mezen. You may be right that humans wrote The Bible but The Bible was INSPIRED by God. The ones that wrote The Bible had been filled by the Holy Spirit.

Besides, and I say this all the time, every single book that I have ever come across were written by humans. I have never come across a book that was written by a monkey or a snail.
