Been thinking.
everyone blames god for their failures or bumps in the road but rarely thank him for any sort of success.
got me thinking about free will. ive started to come to think of god not as the screen writer to the play of life but someone whos seen the show already. making everything still my choice.

that a common thought? a wrong thought?

Its true, he can see whats going to happen, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's choosing everything we do.

We make the choice to sin, and there are consequences to all sin.

He's waiting for you to let him in your heart.

Correct. Even though God already knows what we'll choice to do, it's still our choice to choose what actions we take. "God seen the show already" is a good way of putting it.

But don't forget, he can (and does) actively get involved from time to time.

Hardening the pharaoh's heart, Jesus, etc.

God created everything for his purposes, even if we have certain elements of choice.

In any case, free will vs. not ends up being semantics in the end.

As people have already been saying... based on my beliefs God has given us the choice of free will and allowing us to make our own decisions whether for good or for bad he will ALWAYS love us more then we can even imagine. If we make mistakes he doesn't stop loving us and as we pray for him and forgiveness for our sins we must remember when Jesus died for our sins he took them all out of our hearts and gave us the room to replace sin with God :)
